A note from our founder

Water has been at the center of my working life for as long as I can remember. As a Superintending Engineer with the Irrigation & Water Resources Department, Government of Haryana, and later as Director of the Micro Irrigation & Command Area Development Authority (MICADA), I spent my career on the practical, unglamorous work of making sure water actually reaches the people and land that need it — through canals, through pipelines, through the standards and paperwork that decide whether a system built on paper actually works in the field.

I started Aquaveda Consulting Engineers because that experience shouldn't retire with me. Too often, the people who most need sound engineering judgment — a farmer choosing between drip and sprinkler, a manufacturer navigating BIS certification, an agency drafting a DPR for a canal modernisation project — don't have easy access to someone who has actually sat on the other side of that table, inside the system that governs these decisions.

Aquaveda is built to be direct. When you work with us, you work with me — not a rotating team of associates. I believe that's the only honest way to offer the kind of judgment that comes from decades of hands-on experience, not a brochure.
